SCCA Time Trials

TIRE RACK SCCA TIME TRIALS NATIONAL EVENT REQUIRED DECALS

At the Tire Rack Time Trials National Tour and Time Trials Nationals, the partners supporting the series make the events possible and to show our support, all entrants are required to run event and partner decals visibly and tastefully placed on each side of the vehicle and a Tire Rack windshield banner at the top of the front windshield. Decals will be provided free of charge and may be obtained at registration and/or tech.

The diagram for where decals should be placed is below, but first some tips for those who may not want to keep the decals on their car or have concerns about residue left on their paint.

1) Make magnets. Magnetic sheet or "vent covers" can be found online and at home improvement retailers. Decals can be placed on this magnetic material and then cut out with scissors to make easily placed and reused partner logos.

2) Lint Barrier: Before applying the decal to your car, press it to your shirt or a shop rag to pick up some lint. This lint will help easier removal and less residue issues than the full decal might.

3) Masking Tape: Use blue or green "painters tape" between the car and the partner decal. The temporary tape will easily peel off after the event.
