You don’t get towering evergreens and unbelievable rolling terrain at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. So yeah, Indy is cool, but there are places where the scenery truly rocks – like, video game level stuff. For that, scratch your motorsports itch among some insane sights at the Tire Rack SCCA® Time Attack Challenge at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA.

The event itself won’t happen until Aug. 22-23, 2026, but registration is now open, and spots are limited to only 60 drivers, so you’ll want to get on board early.

Take the Plunge

The drive to the Ridge includes passing through some of the most stunning Pacific Northwest landscape that can’t be beat. It’s utterly breathtaking. Sights like no other.

Then you set foot in the facility, and it only gets better.

The 2.47 miles of pavement brings a technical, elevation-heavy circuit blending fast sweepers with tight, demanding sections that reward commitment and precision. Each of the course’s 16 corners is an opportunity to find time, or give it right back to your competitors.

Packed With Fun

Here’s the third best part of the weekend at the Ridge (behind driving as hard as you’d like on a racetrack and competing to be the best you can be): Aug. 22-23 SCCA Time Attack Challenge competitors will be joined by Global Time Attack and a drift competition, making the weekend a full festival of fun.

Then spend the night!

The relaxed paddock vibes at the end of the day are straight up radical (or whatever the kids say these days) and a perfect spot for making friends, talking racing, and having a beverage or two to wind down, because let’s face it, camping has become quite the tradition at Time Attack Challenge events.
