2023 Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta Powered by Hagerty

Registration opens on August 3rd!!

The Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour invites you to come experience the fun and excitement of competing on track with likeminded enthusiasts. From beginner to seasoned track veterans, these events are a home for anyone that considers themselves a driving enthusiast. And when the track goes quiet, the good times continue with the off-track social activities featuring food, fun, and friends! Camping at the track is encouraged, friends and family are welcome, and food and drink are available on site. Come join in on the good times!

Drivers will tackle the 2.54-mile Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to see who can put down the best laps as part of the action-packed SCCA American Road Race of Champions. Each driver will spend the weekend vying for their best single lap during each of the multiple Time Attack lapping sessions, with their fastest laps from multiple sessions combining to determine the finishing order with the top five overall and top three in each class standing on the KONI Podium and taking home the trophies.

Driver Entry Fee: $345.00 (Annual SCCA Membership required)

* If you don't have your own AMB or Westhold compatible transponder, you will need to add a rental transponder.

Those who want to experience the action, excitement and festivities of a Time Trials National Tour are not limited to drivers. Tech Officials, Timing and Scoring gurus and more are welcome at the event and at the parties. Helping as a volunteer, worker or officials costs nothing and those interested can apply by using the link below.

D. TIMING & SCORING: All cars are required to use fully operational Westhold, MyLaps/AMB TranX260 or X2 transponders. The driver is responsible for providing correct information to Timing & Scoring. Non-functioning transponders will likely result in the loss of times.

A. Competition Vehicle Parking: There will be a designated area for SCCA Time Trials National Tour Competitors. This area will be posted closer to the event.

B. Spectator/Crew Parking: Spectator and crew parking is very limited in the paddock area. Ride sharing and race team cooperation are appreciated.

C. EMERGENCY LANES: Keep all lanes in the paddock open at all times. This is necessary so that emergency vehicles of all sorts can fulfill their duties. If you leave a vehicle blocking an emergency lane, it will be removed without warning.

A. Racing Fuel: Road Atlanta has automatic (credit card) pumps for both unleaded (98 octane) and leaded (110 & 112 octane) VP racing gas. While these pumps are normally available throughout the weekend, at a recent event the phone lines failed and the pumps failed to operate. Should this happen again we will make every effort to resolve the situation, but participants would be well served to plan ahead to ensure they have adequate fuel for the weekend. There ARE alternate sources of racing fuel in the vicinity.

B. Medical Facility: If you are sick or injured, please check with the medical staff. They will treat you as needed and process necessary paperwork. SCCA insurance will not pay if you do not have the paperwork processed. The facility is located at the beginning of pit lane.

A. Property Damage: Road Atlanta and/or SCCA-Atlanta may hold drivers responsible for damages to property. Drivers continually cutting apexes in the grass may be held financially responsible for repairs and may be penalized.

B. Participant, Crew, Guest Conduct and Intoxicants: Any participant using intoxicants before their race group or assigned duties are over each day is subject to disqualification from the event and ejection from the property. Use of illegal drugs is specifically prohibited at all times during the event. Anyone using illegal drugs is subject to disqualification and ejection from the property. Smoking is prohibited indoors as well as in Tech, Grid, Pit Lane, and within 20 feet of the Media Center/Tower.

C. Pavement and Wastes: Per Road Atlanta policy: Do not drive stakes into the pavement. Always use wood blocks or metal plates to prevent pavement damage from jacks and jack stands. Do not spill oil, coolant, or fuel onto pavement or ground. Receptacles for waste oil and for coolant are available in the tech shed. Please make provision for removing from the premises any used tires, fuel, brake fluid, solvents, hazardous waste products, and batteries. If you do have an accidental spill, please call for the Race Chairman.

D. Restricted Hours: Hall County ordinance prohibits running race engines between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. It also prohibits running race engines during the hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Sundays.
